Meet the management
Shaun Mitchem
Technical Director
Shaun invented VPH back in 1994, making us the longest surviving web agency in London. When asked for a company name, Shaun was caught unawares and blurted out the first logical name that entered his head - Virtual Publishing House. Yes, that's what VPH stands for, not Visible Panty Hose, contrary to popular belief.
Shaun also invented Facebook, before Zuckerberg was even born. He just forgot to tell anybody.
Phil Barker
Managing Director
Surviving the dot com crash and a couple of financial recessions, Phil has steered VPH through some stormy seas – must be his passion for sailing.
Phil’s background in marketing and advertising (he’s an ex Cadburys/Nestle man you know) has been invaluable to clients over the years. His sound understanding of market combined with VPHs technical passion ensures that the brands we work on have always received thorough digital strategies rather than short term tactics.
Karen Jones
Account Director
VPHs very own wonder woman, her ability to multitask is nothing short of amazing - observe this super human for just half an hour and you’re likely to feel dizzy.
As well as taking care of all our client needs, Jonesy is a passionate advocate for all things digital and even on Christmas day she can be found scouring the world wide web for fresh ideas, meaning clients rarely miss an opportunity.
Reading just a paragraph of Karens blog will give you more digital insight than you can shake a USB stick at.
Holly Williams
Digital Engagement Director
Holly is what you'd call an 'ideas' person, she spends her day planning new and exciting ways to engage consumers. Whether it's an interactive viral campaign; social media app or even a billboard campaign, Holly is right at the forefront of cutting edge ideas. With a technical background and vast creative experience (You may recognise Holly from popular daytime TV show, 60 Minute Makeover - if you don't have a job that is) she can always be relied on to come up with an imaginative solution.
As well as running a tight ship where projects are concerned, Holly keeps a very close eye on the latest social media developments - which you can read about in her blog.
